Stradivarius

Stradivarius: a stringed instrument crafted by the Stradivari family of Italy in the early 1700’s. Highly prized by world class musicians, the violins are said to be an almost perfect melding of art and science. Each Stradivarius was made entirely by hand, “sang” like no violins had ever before and produce a pureness of sound in the hands of a great violinist. There are fewer than 700 Stradivarius violins in the world today.

Membership in the Stradivarius Club is restricted to Frequent Fiddle Club members and is designed for those who enjoy those extraordinary, very limited release wines that are normally only available at the winery. A single barrel bottling from one of our Oregon vineyards. Library verticals. Doyle (the wine, not the husband!). Wines bottled just for this group of epicureans – clonal selections, single block designations, special blends. Big bottles. Who knows??!!

While Frequent Fiddler shipments will focus on our current release wines offered at a discount, we’ll look into our special stash of older, smaller or really unique pinot bottles for Stradivarius. Because of this, membership in Stradivarius will be extremely limited. Once membership has closed, a waiting list will be maintained.

Stradivarius members receive the following benefits:

• 1-3 bottles of our most special, limited and unique small-lot releases, four times per year
• Your Frequent Fiddle Club discount applies to all shipments.
• Shipments range from $75 to $200, plus shipping and tax
• First, and most times only, opportunity to purchase these wines. Additional bottles available as quantities
  permit.
• Special offering of Library Wines, Verticals and Large format bottlings.
• An invitation to our annual First String Fiddlers Luncheon
• Gift Desk just for Club members – simply call us and we’ll do the rest!

Shipments will be sent four times per year during ‘fair weather’ months: April, May, September and October. Due to legal restrictions, all shipments must be received and signed for by a person age 21 or older. UPS delivery addresses cannot be changed, without an additional charge, once in route. We are limited to shipping only to those states listed at the top of the “BUY WINE” section.
